Videogames

Videogames have always had presence in the electronic world in terms of innovation and entertainment. Nowadays the new videogame consoles and laptops give the opportunity to play offline and online, this allows interacting with other people while playing. But this keeps going on, now the companies that produce videogames look for a way to satisfy their public, also they look for ways so that their costumers can play a game that has lot of exit during a large period of time, more time that the one they would spend if the game was sold in a unique version.

Was long ago when episodic videogames emerged; firstly it only started to be marked on certain non-commercial videogames, this games innovated with the incorporation of little pieces of a complete game, with this innovations they got people to try the game and if they liked it, they could keep buying the next episodes. This could be compared with the series, which they show weekly fragments of an audiovisual piece, with the intention of drawing his attention, applied to the videogames, capturing customer’s attention so that they keep buying the next season.

Games such as The Walking Dead, have already tried this new format and it has been profitable, other games such as Silent Hills, that will proximately be released, have follow the new format that The Walking Dead have already shown to the population.

Our point of view is that videogames are very important in today’s society; the releases of commercial games and new videogame consoles create long queues for it’s selling’s and also that two brands such as Sony (PlayStation) and Microsoft (Xbox) compete as market leaders. We consider that in future videogames they will all be released in episodes, because like this they can take more profit of the videogame, you can control if the game keeps liking or if it has to be improved through the selling’s of each episode.
